Terms of Service
GoFundMe’s Terms of Service ('Terms') prescribe the rules that apply to GoFundMe users, whether you’re an organiser, donor or beneficiary. An organiser is a person who starts a fundraiser on GoFundMe. A donor is a person who gives money to a fundraiser. A beneficiary is a person who receives funds raised from a fundraiser.
All donations are processed by trusted payment partners. We are, therefore, required to comply with strictly enforced regulations from the payments industry, and may be required to suspend or terminate an account if we identify a prohibited activity or business. Above all, GoFundMe is committed to keeping our platform safe for everyone, and we reserve the right to take action if we identify activity that is against our Terms of Service, or that introduces unacceptable risk to us or our community.
For more information, including details on conduct that is and is not allowed on our platform, please review our Terms of Service.
Continued Dedication
We will continue to update our Transparency Centre to ensure users have access to our most current and relevant policies and information. Thank you for being part of our community of more than 150 million people helping each other.
